In November 2006 The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 came into force, replacing the older Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002. These new regulations require duty-holders to manage asbestos in non-domestic properties (through Regulation 4) after undertaking an initial risk assessment, normally a type 1 or type 2 asbestos survey. |
